Corry Girls Soccer Coach

Corry girls soccer traveled to Titusville on Wednesday night for a critical region matchup. Regulation couldn't bring forth a winner and so they headed to overtime which also didn't settle anything. After after double overtime left things in a stalemate the tough regional battle ended in a double overtime 1-1 tie.

Scoring for Corry was Morgan Martin with her first goal of the season. That goal was assisted by Ava Wetherbee. Region matches are always unpredictable and Titusville is always a tough match for us. Hard to be upset with the outcome when the girls left it all out there and gave all they had. Titusville had more shots but we held possession so it was anyone’s game.

That brings Corry to 9-6-2 record on the year with one game left for the regular season. The Beavers will host Conneaut at Sheen Field on Tuesday October 15th. Opening kick is at 6:00 PM and the Beavers are hoping to wash away that nasty feeling of a 2-1 loss to the Eagles earlier in the year. If you can't make it to the game, watch it live on the DeeJ Experience Sports Stream. www.deejexperience.com/corry-beavers
