Corry, PA- The Corry varsity football team returned home Friday evening to take on the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers in a thrilling homecoming showdown. It was a high scoring, back and forth affair that went all the way to overtime. In the end, the Beavers came out on top with a walk off touchdown to win the game 37-34. They are now 4-2 on the season.
Corry kicked off the scoring in the first quarter with an 18 yard pass to Marcus Meredith that gave the Beavers an early lead (6-0). After the halftime festivities, Prep opened up the scoring in the second half with another big 92 yard run from Feliciano on third and fifteen play (20-21).
