The Dragons would return fire in the bottom of the sixth inning with an RBI single from Gabe Thibodeaux that brought Manning home and the Dragons extended their lead 3-1.

Coach Jake Cirigliano was very complimentary on his team’s performance. “What a gritty win tonight by the boys!” Cirigliano said. “We started off slow, going down in the first inning but we fought back late. Kaiden Krasa, Kamdyn moon, Wyatt swan all chipped in with two hits apiece. Swan pitched a great game and Kamdyn came in to get the win. I can’t speak enough to the performance tonight, tough and gritty, we fought hard at the plate. This was a great team win.”
The win improves Corry’s record to 4-5 at the halfway point of the season. Next up for the Beavers is a road trip to Northwestern on Monday where they will take on the Wildcats in region five match up. The Opening Pitch is Scheduled for 4:30pm and the game will be broadcasted live on the DeeJ Experience Sports Stream. www.deejexperience.com
