Corry Middle School Football Coach

The Corry Beavers middle school football team Hosted Walnut Creek of McDowell on Wednesday night at Sheen Field. Corry would fall to the tune of 50-16 on the night.

The Beavers answered right away after WC scored and went up 6-0. The Beavers got the ball and marched down the field after Robert Cummings hit Asher Pilar in stride for the 30 yard touchdown. Joey Palczer caught the two-point conversion to give the Beavers the lead 8-6 going into the second quarter.

From there it was all Walnut Creek until the beavers found the endzone again with 7 minutes left when Cummings then connected with Landon Walizer for the Beaver Touchdown. Elijah Bayle caught the two-point conversion from Cummings. This brought the score to 42-16. Catching passes also were Xavier Abeyta, Hunter Donoghue, Lucas Waychoff and Bentley Luther. Luther had an interception on Defense as well.

Missed tackling hurt us real bad on Wednesday. We were arm tackling and not breaking down and running through the guys and Walnut Creek capitalized on that. Corry travel to Fort LeBoeuf next Wednesday for a special 3:30 PM kickoff. Watch it live on the DeeJ Experience Stream at www.deejexperience.com/corry-beavers.
