Four Corry seniors named to the 2026 AVCA Girls High School All-American Watch List

Corry volleyball is proud to announce the American Volleyball Coaches Association

(AVCA) has announced four Corry volleyball seniors have been named to the 2026 AVCA

Girls High School All-America Watch List:


Grace Allen
Grace Allen

Grace Allen is three time All-Region and All-District outside hitter, and two-time PIAA All-State recipient. Grace officially committed to attend Carneige-Mellon University next fall.

Regan Kemp
Regan Kemp

Regan Kemp was named to the 2025 PIAA All-State team. The Corry outside hitter led the team in passing and service aces in the 2025 season.


Haley Mumau
Haley Mumau

Haley Mumau was named to the 2025 PIAA All-State team. Haley led the team with assists from her setter position.


Rylee Nickerson
Rylee Nickerson

Rylee Nickerson was recognized as both an All-Region and All-District middle hitter in 2025 after leading the team in hitting efficiency.


Coach Kelly Goodsel had the following comment. “We are grateful the AVCA recognized these four Corry volleyball players and while it is great to receive the pre-season accolades, I know the players and team is focused on the upcoming season and showing their skills on the court.”


The Corry Area High School volleyball program is a member of PIAA District 10. Corry has won three consecutive Region 4 titles, back-to-back District 10 championships, and finished 3rd in the state in 2025 and 2nd in the state in 2024.


The AVCA mission is to advance the sport of volleyball with AVCA coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development. Our membership includes over 10,000 members made up of collegiate, professional, high school, club, and youth volleyball coaches primarily in the United States. We represent women's volleyball, men's volleyball, and beach volleyball coaches, and work to increase exposure and recognition for the sport of volleyball as a whole.


The requirements for having an athlete on the AVCA All-American Watch List are: the student-athlete must have a 2027 grad year and must have been recognized in some form for her outstanding volleyball abilities (such as but not limited to: All-Region, All-State, PVB or Prep Dig Watchlist or awards, JVA Watchlist, USAV NTDP or HP, etc.) and the student-athlete’s high school head coach must be an active AVCA member. for more information on the AVCA or to veiw the entire list visit https://www.avca.org/award/2026-girls-high-school-all-america-watch-list/


Corry Volleyball is set to start the season with a bang this Saturday August 29th as they head to the Morrow Fieldhouse at Slippery Rock University for the First Ever D7 vs D10 Volleyball Showdown. Corry is set to open the event against Oakland Catholic, a fellow 4A team whom lost in the Finals to then 3A Pope John Paul II 3-0. It is going to be a very challanging but a very fun year for Corry Volleyball!
